All real entities (employers) and legal entities can hold IFMMA membership if they meet the following requirements:
- Holding Iranian nationality
- Being at least 20 years of age
- Holding a minimum high-school diploma
- Working in a food machinery manufacturing industry within the purview of this association and presenting valid ID including:
- Operations license issued by the Ministry of Industry, Mine and Trade
- Establishment permit issued by the Ministry of Industry, Mine and Trade
- ID cards from related organizations
- Certificate of Industrial Activity from related organizations
- Or a valid license from other ministries and organizations involved in food industry machinery manufacturing
- Practicing one of the official religions of the country
- Having no criminal conviction which could lead to the revocation of social rights
- Approving of and committing to the implementation of the requirements of the articles of association as well as the decisions of the association; paying membership and entry fees on a regular basis
- Eligible applicants can freely hold IFMMA membership; no one can be forced to gain membership, nor can they be denied IFMMA membership
- In case a person’s application for membership is rejected by the Board of Directors due to his/her failure to meet the requirements, the applicant can take his/her complaint to the first general assembly whose decisions in this regard are final.
- In case a member loses one membership requirement, s/he will be denied membership but is obliged to honor his/her previous commitments.
